Leah Kaminsky

Leah Kaminsky is an Australian doctor-writer and the author of two non-fiction books and a poetry chapbook, the Eleanor Dark Flagship Fellow for Fiction (2007) second winner in the John Shaw Neilson Poetry Prize (2007) and commended in the Max Harris Poetry Awards 2008, received grants from Arts Victoria and the Literature Board of Australia Council in 2008, to work on her novel The Waiting Room as writer-in-residence at Bar Ilan University. She has published fiction and poetry in many magazines and studied writing at the Iowa Writer’s Workshop, NYU and RMIT University. www.leahkaminsky.com
